[Slaughtering Grounds]

Very cool guitar lead . I wish this was a little faster and more upbeat .

I think most rock songs have guitar in foreground but i feel like drums area bit distracting .

Cheers for the feedback! I wanted to mirror the original theme as much as possible but a faster track might have worked better. i also agree the drums are a little loud (my mixing needs work) but thank you for the review!

Its sounds good but the hole track feels like it builds up to something and never goes there . Some change of pace would be nice .

The recording quality is terrible . Sepereate sound channels if you can . This melody reminds me something from 15th century . Maybe if you add some lairs with other instruments it would pass as cinematic build up .

Never played Airwolf but it has that old arcade space shooter vibe .

Sounds more modern than console music .

I assume this is live recording . It sounds very lonely hope you ok :)

I like the melody and you have good sense of progressions .

. It would be interesting to have midi versions in higher quality with pads .

If you could make midi pattern I could make remix for fun.

It was not a live recording. It was created in FL Studio using a plugin called Ivory (For the piano instrument) sequenced in a piano roll.

Were you inspired by Soul Reaver by any chance?

It reminds me ambient music inside citadel .

Although you made it too uplifting and electronic parts felt out of place for me .

I think you should try to keep it one genre

For me this was more of a test of trying to remake something by just using my ears.

Actually I was first trying to make a Soul Reaver Legacy of Kain main theme or something else from it :)
Were just lil bit too complicated.

I am actually making atm more cinematic and much less messy versio out of this.

I think you should progress music faster . 50 seconds with same pattern is too long .

Piano was too much in background and didn't harmonize well . Perhaps lounder electric analog would be better .

Overall it needs more variations .

All fair observations, particularly about the piano which I didn't want to have punch through too much of; nor become lost in; everything else, so I tried for a middle ground.

Faster progression, I somewhat agree: I recall being advised that one should get to the good bit within 30 to 60 seconds, but perhaps sooner rather than later is the better option?

As for more variations, I would say that I wanted to keep things fairly simple and consistent, although maybe I took the risk of being closer to the boundary of boring this time.

Whether or not the aspects you mentioned are a matter of taste, it's good to read what someone else thinks, as it keeps me on my toes a bit. Thank you :)
